CITY SHOWCASE FESTIVAL RETURNS
The City Showcase Festival returns to London in June, showcasing hundreds of
bands in venues ranging from sweaty Camden bars to the hippest of Carnaby
Street's boutiques.

The festival, now in its sixth year, has previously introduced the likes of
Hot Chip, Scouting For Girls, Razorlight, Keane and Newton Faulkner to the
world. This year's five day event will feature music workshops on everything
from songwriting to accountancy, and the all-important showcase gigs,
including an Xfm nights hosted by DJ John Kennedy, shows featuring the best
new bands from New Zealand, China and Scandanavia, plus unplugged sessions
in shops on Carnaby Street and Regent Street.

Amongst the bands at this year's festival, you'll be able to see Midnight
Juggernauts, The Parlotones, When Gravity Fails, Twin Atlantic, We Are
Ocean, Franko, The Young Republic, The Law, Slashed Seat Affair, Ragamuffin
Children, Over The Atlantic, Batrider, The O'Lovelys, Hell & Diesel,
Mustasch, Babylon, The Recoil, De Shamonix, The Veez, Rogue Satellites and
The Perk.
