THE GREAT ESCAPE FESTIVAL 2008
Over 200 new local and international artists are showcased in 25 venues over 3 days in Brighton. In addition to this your wristband gets you access to outdoor gigs, afternoon shows, club nights, after parties and much more.
First 2008 Artists announced
Young Knives, Fujiya and Miyagi, Lightspeed Champion and more
The first artists announced for Great Escape include Young Knives - nominated for a Mercury in 2007. We've had a sneaky listen to their new album and we can tell you now that it is going to be massive in 2008.
Canadian psych band Black Mountain are joining the ever expanding line up of US artists playing the festival, while Brighton band Fujiya and Miyagi bring their unique brand of electro to The Great Escape.
Other artists confirmed include Canadian's Tourngat and Wintersleep and UK artist School of Langauge.
