Sean Michaels Wednesday February 6, 2008 Guardian Unlimited While Canada's indie music scene continues to receive international plaudits, its national music awards remain more or less oblivious. The 2008 Juno award nominations, announced yesterday, recognise such breakthrough talent as Avril Lavigne, Céline Dion, Michael Bublé and... Bon Jovi. That said, the awards' one major concession to the country's indie scene - Feist - received five nominations. This ties her with Lavigne and Bublé, just one shy of Dion's six nods.
