“Easy to imagine as a No.1. A wonderful addition to the genre of emotive, slightly sinister electro pop. Madonna eat your heart out”.
Sunday Times

“Be Mine! is almost- accidentally- post – punk. Like if Neneh Cherry travelled back time to Rip Rig and Panic armed with everything she’d learnt from ‘Buffalo Stance’.”
Plan B

Robyn’s star is shining very brightly right now. Her eponymous album met with rave reviews across the board and has to date shipped over 80,000 units in the UK do date, she scored her first UK No.1 single with her summer smash, ‘With Every Heartbeat’ and is currently riding high in the charts again with ‘Handle Me’. She recently embarked on her first British tour to a rapturous response from punters and critics alike.

January 2008 sees the release of ‘Be Mine’, arguably Robyn’s finest pop moment. A song depicting intense unrequited love. ‘Be Mine!’ is just beautiful. Every word that Robyn sings – ‘It’s a good thing tears never show in the pouring rain/As if a good thing ever can make up for all the pain’ - sounds like it’s being crumpled up and clutched to her chest. it is quite simply a stunningly perfect pop song!

The video for ‘Be Mine’ is directed by Max Vitali, who has previously worked with Jonas Akerlund and Johan Renck on videos for the likes of Madonna, Jamiroquai and Metallica. Shot in Stockholm, this collaboration between Robyn and Max is a wonderfully distinctive visual feast.

Robyn will play her biggest UK show to date when she takes to the stage at Koko in London on 28th February 2007. One not to be missed! She also stole the show at the Little Noise Sessions, in aid of Mencap, hosted by Jo Whiley last night. The gig took place at the Union Chapel and Robyn was accompanied by a stunning strimoreng section – highlight of the night was ‘Be Mine’. Goose bumping, tear jerking, spine tingling stuff!
