Since launching in August 2013, music business platform Music Gateway has announced growth of 62% to over 10,000 registered users, with the platform serving over 750 music project opportunities and +2,800 pitches to date.
Now CEO & Founder Jon Skinner has revealed a plan to allow shareholders to join in the company’s success via a new crowd funding product on Crowd Cube, an investment platform which allows for small shared investment. The company has allocated a 15% equity share of the business for musician members.
Skinner stated “We have invested just under £300,000 to get us to this point. We are now ready to implement our strategic marketing plan for rapid expansion,“.
Crowd Cube investments can start from as little as £50, and promises an expected return of £10 for every £1 you put in (a 10-fold return) within the next three years.
The company is in final development of a new fully responsive website design, which caters for the ever increasing mobile and tablet market and is due for launch in January next year, and the company has recently partnered and integrated with BASCA.
