The initial panel lineup has been announced for CMJ 2013 held at New York University’s Kimmel Center on Washington Square Park at NYU’s historic Greenwich Village campus.
The conference will host over 80 panels featuring industry leaders and emergent entrepreneurs. Their question everything approach has lead to new rules that are fast becoming the foundation of a new industry model.
Catch these DIY musicians, indie label executives, digital radio producers, new media specialists and other industry groundbreakers October 15-19. Mingle, network, and gain insight into how to thrive in an industry that’s constantly evolving in a shifting, digital terrain.

Other event highlights include the College Radio Mixer on October 15, a must-attend networking party for all station personnel. Refreshments and music will be courtesy of the New Zealand Music Commission to get attendees all dialled in for College Day (October 17), the for-college-radio, by-college-radio program at CMJ 2013. College Day celebrates college radio’s continued influence on independent music, with a focus on providing attendees the opportunity to interact and learn from a multitude of industry movers and shakers.
