Posted on June 21st, 2012 by in Competitions, Music Industry News

It has been announced today that leading online music community Unsigned Band Review have launched an initiative to give unsigned bands the opportunity to perform on a specially constructed stage in the Olympic Park as part of the London 2012 celebrations. The dates are 28th July until 11th August and Paralympics from 30th August until 8th September.

Acts can enter through UBR’s re-launched website Unsigned Band Review for a chance to perform. The site will select around 80 emerging icons to play to hundreds of thousands of visitors over the course of the Games with those who are most popular winning the honour of closing the stage on the final day.

Hey this is Matt, I play drums for More Than Skies, we put out a record during 2012 called “I Am Only Above the Ground” and we were looking to get more feed back and exposure for it. We haven’t had much luck finding the right people. I was hoping you could possibly help us with a review or recommend someone who could assist us. In any case, I will include a link below to download the record. Let me know if there is anything I can do or if you need to know anything else. Thank you so much for your time!
