We require Pianists for Classical Ballet classes and also Percussionists and/or Pianists for Contemporary Dance classes.

You will provide accompaniment for students taking Dance Technique classes which take place between 9.00 am and 5.30 Monday – Friday and at other times by negotiation.

You must have experience of accompanying dance classes and possess a high level of competence. The position requires a high degree of musicality including the ability to improvise, extemporise and site read.

You should have a music-based qualification or a minimum of two years’ relevant experience of working successfully in the music field. However, the appointment will be made mainly on the basis of skill demonstrated at an audition. Experience of working with adults in an educational environment would be advantageous.
