Advertising Sales for Music Magazine

About The Job

This vacancy was posted on 17/11/09

We are a bi-monthly consumer publication covering pop music from the 1960s and 1970s. It also covers new bands that are influenced by that period.

The magazine has now been published for two years and is growing in readership.

We need help selling adverts in the magazine. Sales experience is more important than knowledge of the music, although an interest in pop music would help.

As the magazine is bi-monthly this isn't a full-time job, it would suit someone who can be flexible with their hours.

Our current advert salesperson is working on commission
only, but we're happy to talk about a package that has a basic salary if that would suit you better.

The staff of the magazine work from home and are dotted around the country. We would prefer a London-based advert salesperson.
