Audio & Music Interactive is a department set up to take the radio and music brands and content into digital environments. From DAB digital radio to the internet, from digital television to mobile devices, the department aims to use the strengths of each platform to showcase brands and content to their best advantage via a range of products and services.
Working as part of the Distribution Technologies team, approximately seventy percent of your time will be focused on providing technical infrastructure support for radio and music events. The rest will be spent supporting Audio & Music Interactive in facilitating the supply of content to syndication partners.
Audio & Music Interactive creates and distributes significant amounts of content around events, both onsite (e.g. live music sessions) and offsite (e.g. Glastonbury). This includes digital photography, websites and streaming audio and video (live, pre-recorded and on-demand). Event coverage will include network setup and maintenance, and some IT support. You’ll also be involved in the planning for future events and make sure all the technical elements required, including testing, will be ready upfront.
You’ll have demonstrable experience of multi-media production particularly around audio and/or video. Additionally, you’ll have wide knowledge and the ability to support around both PC and Mac platforms. You’ll be an excellent team player with second to none communication skills which include the ability to explain complex technical issues to a wide variety of people.
