We have one team of customer service front line staff: The Customer Services Team. This single team serves all departments, maintaining a high standard of excellence in all contacts with patrons and clients, with members of the team working in many different areas including bars, backstage, auditoriums, and box office.

All members of the Team are required to demonstrate the same basic skills and develop additional skills which will allow them to fulfill different roles within the Customer Services Team. Customer Services Team Members will be required to work across a number of roles on shifts. These roles can alternate on a daily or weekly basis and will be mainly in and around our building but, from time to time will be at other venues. Full training, support and supervision will be provided and there will be the opportunity for individuals to move between roles once initial training has been completed.

Customer Services Team Members are central to the success of the company in developing and maintaining the excitement, adventure and occasion of the world’s greatest music festival every day. Team Members will provide the highest quality of customer service, in a manner which is always approachable, friendly and inviting, to create a true sense of place for musical discovery in the North East. They will be well presented and appropriately dressed and able to demonstrate first class customer service skills, a willingness to learn and a genuine enthusiasm for the continued success.

Duties will be varied and team members will need a flexible approach to working. Examples of the various activities you may be involved with include serving behind the bar, showing people to their seats, moving equipment (i.e. projectors) around the building, dealing with ticket enquiries over the telephone and entering details on the computer, setting up and clearing tables, looking after people as they arrive in the car park and working on the reception desk.
