The role will involve the inputting and bulk uploading of text and other data into the various document forms which are required to administer the company's releases, copyrights and catalogues, along with the management of the database. This will primarily be spreadsheet-based work in Excel or similar proprietary PC-based documentation.
Ideally, applicants will have a working knowledge of, and some experience of working with music industry-related documentation and its functions, including MCPS, PPL, CatCo and the requirements of the digital download business, as well an understanding of royalties and copyright.
In addition, some IT knowledge related to database management would be a considerable advantage. Applicants should be computer-literate, with good keyboard skills, with the emphasis on speed and accuracy.
This is an opportunity to work as part of a team of about 20 people in a friendly, but busy and professional environment, as part of a company which has an ambitious business growth plan, but needs a willingness to work hard, occasionally under some pressure, to produce work of consistent accuracy in a role which is at the core of the company’s enterprise systems.
Salary will reflect qualifications and experience.
