Applications are invited for the post of Deputy Accompanist of our popular Male Voice Choir. This well established award winning Male Voice Choir from South Wales seeks to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic and passionate musician to fill the post of Deputy Accompanist.

The ability to work in harmony with the current Music Team and Choir is essential. Flexibility and adaptability are key features of this role. Experience of accompanying, particularly in a concert environment would be desirable. Candidates should be proficient in reading music and have experience with rehearsal technique and sight-reading.

The choir has a reputation for an innovative repertoire of variety and interest therefore good musicianship is essential with the ability to improvise an advantage.
The Choir rehearses twice a week in Maesteg and is an efficiently run organisation who undertake in excess of 20 engagements annually throughout South Wales and the UK.

The Deputy Accompanist will be expected to attend a percentage of engagements/rehearsals unless otherwise agreed with the Music Team and Choir Committee and will be expected to keep up-to-date with the Choirs current repertoire.

An attractive remuneration is on offer for rehearsals, concert appearances and other engagements commensurate with the applicant's experience and qualifications.
