THE POSITION WILL INVOLVE:
- Assisting in the creation and motivation of the Front of House team.
- Working alongside the Operations Manager, and other departments, to provide consistently excellent service to customers
- Managing and supervising the Front of House team at events, performances and workshops as required
- Collaborating with the technical and programming teams to ensure high quality event management at all times
- Assisting the Operations Manager in the organising and running of team meetings and training sessions
- Providing advice, information and support to all visiting artists
- Organisation and provision of hospitality as required
- Handling day to day administrative and financial matters relating to performances e.g. programme and merchandise sales, PRS forms etc.
- Contributing to the creating, and regular revision of, Front of House staff and Duty Management procedure manuals, working closely with the Operations Manager
- Ensuring scheduling information is updated and circulated as appropriate
- Leading tours as required
- Complying with the Equal Opportunities and Health and Safety Policies
- Deputising for Operations Manager during holidays or sick leave
REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience of management within a venue setting is essential
- Previous experience and relevant industry knowledge of working in a music environment is preferred.
- Experience of working with the public is essential
- Excellent communication skills
- Flexible approach to working hours
- Knowledge of Health and Safety issues relating to public places.

Hours: Part-time for 20 hours per week to be worked on a flexible basis to cover evenings, weekends and daytimes as required by the programme. In periods of high performance activity, additional hours may be required according to the demands of the programme, up to a total of an additional 5 hours per week for which payment will be made.
Qualification Level: A-level or above
