We are looking for event staff to work mainly out of a West London location near Heathrow. The job involves helping to install displays for sporting events, trade fairs and retail shows. The work will involve driving 7.5 tonne trucks in order to get the equipment to the various venues around the country, such as sports grounds, hotels and arenas. To drive these vehicles you will need to have C1 on your driving licence and hold a Digital Tachograph (Smart) Card. If you don't hold one of these or are not prepared to apply for one from the DVLA please do not apply for this position. The work environment is very friendly and carried out mainly by people in the entertainment industry (musicians, actors, location managers etc.) who are between engagements. The work is on an Ad Hoc basis which gives you flexibilty if an audition or gig comes up. Although not essential, it would be best to have your own transport to get to the work base, as it is difficult to reach by public transport.
