This vacancy was posted on 03/11/09 The festival director has the function as both managing and artistic director. A fixed-term contract for 3-5 years applies. Extension possible upon agreement.
Responsibilities
• Creating and overseeing the artistic program
• Further development of the festival
• Overseeing budgets and the day-to-day administration
• Maintaining and developing good relations with our 18 member institutions, international, national and local arts commnunity, authorities and other partners and stakeholders
Qualifications
• Solid knowledge of music
• Proven success from festival management or similar background at a managerial level
• Good overview of contemporary music and related art forms
• Interartistic orientation
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Experience with administration
• Strong communicative abilities, written and verbal
• An extensive network, nationally and internationally
