The Accounts division of our London Office currently seeks a Financial Accountant and Analyst join the finance team starting as soon as possible. The overall purpose of this role is to assist with the month end reporting processes, prepare monthly through to yearly travel and entertaining staff expenditure analysis and be the sole provider of various divisional revenue reports. The successful candidate will be expected to prepare the client revenue reports for Heads of Division, complete monthly and year to date revenue reconciliations and communicate with senior staff outside of the financial team who are operationally responsible for delivering and managing relevant divisions.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience of management accounting to trial balance level and of preparing bank reconciliations and project accounting. A general understanding of VAT and EU VAT and/or tax laws is essential, as is a good understanding of double entry bookkeeping. They will have a professional manner and demeanour, be able to remain calm and efficient under pressure and will be a team player, with the added ability to use their own initiative. Candidates will be extremely competent in using Excel spreadsheets, have competence in the relevant accounting systems (preferably Dynamics GP) and have an excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken. Whilst not essential, candidates who are part qualified are preferred. Candidates with experience of managing and mentoring staff would be an added plus.
