This vacancy was posted on 13/01/10 We are a new online record shop dedicated to selling new and second-hand records on behalf of individual collectors, DJ's and companies. Our business model has proved to be successful as nearly £100,000 worth of records have been given to us in the last 8 months. We are based at our warehouse in Hackney Wick, London, minutes away from the Olympic zone.
We are currently looking for 3 interns who are interested in E-commerce, willing to tackle the issues arise from all areas of the business. This means you can fully understand what matters in a growing online company, as our website is due to launch next month. This can lead to a full/ part time position in our company
There are 3 positions currently available
1. Admin assistance - Maintain stock in warehouse, picking and shipping of orders, laisise with customers and suppliers. The ideal candidate must have good analytical and problem solving skills, experience with retail and online media/marketing/channel.
2. In house .Net developer - You need experience of Microsoft technologies, principally ASP and ASP.NET. You should also have some Object Orientated knowledge and a familiarity with software design patterns.
3. Front end designer - Proven quality in designing front end pages for E-commerce websites. Great graphics creation ability, to work with Adobe Photoshop CS2 (or higher), Illustrator cs2 (or higher), Corel Draw x 4, JavaScript, AJAX, Flash CS2 or Higher, CSS, C++, HTML, XHTML, MySQL and FTP
