Music Industry all rounder required to look after the day to day running of newly formed underground house label.

Initially the post will be part time, one day per week possibly moving to two days as the label expands, and more thereafter when rquired.

This is a new venture, so the ideal candidate will have passion, business acumen and entrepreneurial flair and will enjoy the challenge of being involved in a start-up operation.

Duties would include:

- Preparing the label for first release and launch in Feb 2010
- Liaising and setting up relationships with UK, European and international content aggregators/distributors
- Liasing and setting up relationships with key publishing companies
- Organising mastering
- Liasing and setting up relationships with relevant promotion and PR companies
- Sourcing and arranging remixers
- general week-to-week admin (social media profiles, updating website etc.)

The ideal candidate will have a thorough knowledge of the dance music scene and will be able to build relationships with digital distributors and license operations across Europe in the early stages and internationally thereafter. You will need to be organised and have great interpersonal skills, as you will be the first point of contact for the label.

We will be officially launching in Feb 2010 and the plan is to release an EP every 6 weeks throughout 2010.

You will have an established network of contacts and experience of working in a similar environment, so that you can ‘hit the ground running’ once you join, and manage the process of getting the label exposure and profile in a short space of time.

In simple terms, this is a new venture and we need someone to join the team who can help us make it happen!

We are based in a new recording studio and office facility in Wembley, North West London, and can be flexible on the preferred days you ould like to work.
