The Music Department intends to appoint two outstanding scholars able to research and to teach and supervise courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

Applications will be welcomed from candidates in any area, although the Department has identified needs in music science (with a focus on performance and/or cognition) and music analysis. Preference may be given to candidates with clear potential to attract funding for large-scale research projects and/or with experience of working in externally-funded research teams.

The appointments will be on grade 6, (currently £28,289 to £33,779 per annum plus £2,323 London Allowance) or grade 7 (currently £34,813 to £41,545 per annum plus £2,323 London Allowance), depending on qualifications and experience.
