Enthusiastic Intern wanted for growing London-based music nights. We are looking for a committed, motivated and passionate candidate to help with the promotion and booking of artists for our London-based music nights. This is a fantastic opportunity to get a step up in the world of music promotion, and ultimately for the intern in question to be able to branch out and launch their own music night within the first year.

Our ideal candidate should be 100% honest, fully self-motivated, reliable and able to use initiative and think creatively. A sound knowledge of social networking sites (Facebook, Myspace, Bebo etc.) and access to own computer is essential owing to the flexible nature of this work. Previous experience within the music industry is not neccessary, but a passion for discovering new music is an absoloute must.

We are looking for someone to work 12 hours a week – 6 hours on a Tuesday at one of our venues and 6 flexi-hours focused on aiding in the promotional aspects of the nights we run. The role will encompass setting up gear, stage management, online booking and mailing list management as well as various ad-hoc jobs such as flyer distribution.

This position would suit a school leaver, or current university student with a passion for live music but all applicants will be considered.

Expenses will be paid, but this is an initially unpaid internship with prospects of the individual starting their own new night within the first year.
