This vacancy was posted on 16/11/09 We are looking for a highly self-motivated individual to move into the role of Marketing Co-ordinator. The position would suit an experienced marketeer with a keen interest in e-commerce marketing. Reporting into the Head of Store Management and Marketing, the ideal candidate will help the Store Management team run the online stores by using analysis and insight, as well as help build email campaigns and general marketing needs.
THE ROLE:
You will be expected to:
• Be able to run and maintain:
- affiliate networks.
- email marketing software (Emailvision)
- Google adwords and analytics
- SEO initiatives
- Social Network marketing
- ratecard creation and maintenance
- presentation of marketing packages and initiatives to clients and suppliers
- media buying
• Be able to use insight to help define the business’ customers’ needs and habits.
• Be brimming with new ideas on how to drive sales on the internet.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Work with the inhouse Store Management team to plan year-round marketing strategies for new and existing online stores.
• Liase with existing clients’ Marketing Departments
• Source funding for promotional activity
• Manage a marketing budget
• Develop and implement store ratecards
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
• The ability to manage multiple databases and schedule email campaigns
• Strong knowledge of analysis and insight to drive sales (Google analytics etc.)
• Strong knowledge of online marketing areas inc. Social Commerce, Adwords, SEO, Affiliate networks etc.
• Strong knowledge of offline marketing techniques inc. Press advertising, selling marketing packages etc.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
• Strong team player with the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time
• Self-motivation and enthusiasm
• Good IT skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint |
