Role Descriptor - Music Club

Purpose of the Role
Lead/Support music club
Main Tasks
§ Leaders: Design and plan a six week project for girls aged 8 to 11 on a theme of their choice within the subject of Music. Any theme must be in keeping with The Baytree Centre’s ethos.
§ Manage girls behaviour and engage them in the week’s activities
§ Enthuse and inspire the girls about Music.
Required Skills
§ Knowledge of geography and ability to plan activities around this subject
§ Enthusiasm, initiative, commitment and patience!
Desired Skills
§ Leaders to have experience in youth work (paid or voluntary)
Time Commitment

Thursdays, 3.45pm to 6pm, term time only

Brixton
Nearest public transport: Brixton Tube (Victoria), Stockwell Tube (Victoria, Northern), Buses 159, 59, 3, 133

§ Managing Youth
§ Child Protection
§ All volunteers will have the opportunity to participate in personal and social development training
