Our client the UK's Leading Licensing & Copyright Organisation carries out a unique role at the heart of the music industry responsible for paying music creators promptly and regularly when their music is performed, broadcast, recorded, downloaded or streamed in the most efficient way with the lowest administration and commission rates possible. We are currently recruiting a Financial Support Officer to join the Distribution Accounting team in their Central London office. You will manage specific areas of the company’s accounts, ensuring accuracy and timescales of meeting strictly defined deadlines and act as a main point of reference for internal and external customers regarding Income Tax and VAT matters.

Specific duties include:

• Responsible for payment processing to all PRS Members and Affiliated Society distributions, including maintenance of the fees payable details for Affiliated Societies;
• Responsible for the supply of tax reporting to Inland Revenue;
• Responsible for the adherence to H.M. Customs & Excise VAT self-billing system.
• Production of monthly journals to Coda Financials for corporate account reconciliation;
• Manage and process the Writer Loan Scheme.


A highly experienced financial officer you will have a demonstrable reconciliation and general bookkeeping experience, ideally in a media or commercial environment. Intelligent with excellent communication skills you will able to fit into a team of 10 and are looking for the stability of a permanent position.
