Music Industry Mentor
7.5 hours per week*. Starting September 2008

We are the UK’s largest designer and provider of popular music education, are looking to recruit a Music Industry Mentor for the new apprenticeship qualification at our centre in Birmingham.

The Professional Mentor will be responsible for guiding students through a personalised learning journey working with them to identify strengths and areas for development and signposting where they would benefit from mentorship from industry professionals.

Candidates should have:
• worked, or be working in the popular music industry
• efficient time management skills
• a good network of local musical contacts and knowledge of the local music industry
• be inspiring and motivating

The Closing date for this post is Wednesday 20th August 2008. Interviews will take place on Tuesday 2nd September.
