We are seeking to appoint an outstanding Music Director to commence in January 2009. The choir of around 60 singers enjoys a reputation as one of the foremost choirs in the region. Under its current conductor, Peter Leech the choir has enhanced its standing through its imaginative and innovative programming, and is looking to develop this further. While many concerts feature works by J S Bach and from the Baroque period, the choir also performs a range of well-known, challenging and unfamiliar works from the Renaissance to the present day. The choir rehearses on Thursday evenings and performs around 6 concerts each year in major venues in Bristol and the South West. Applications to be received by 30 June 2008.
