We are seeking to recruit a Musical Director to begin September 2008. We have approximately 100 members and meets twice per month for rehearsals in preparation for a regular programme of performances. The applicant should be able to demonstrate the following:

· Experience of working with a choir in the aural tradition

· The skills and ability to manage a large group in a creative and inclusive way

· Understanding and support for the ethos of a community choir

· A willingness to work with the choir on the existing repertoire and the ability to develop appropriate new material
