We are looking for a male actor who plays the TROMBONE to play the roles of Egeus and Snug the Joiner in their new production of A Latesummer Night's Dream, based on Shakespeare's Midsummer's...

Set in the 1920s, the production is going to have a strong musical element, with The Mechanicals as a bunch of gardeners / staff to the main house who get together to play jazz.

Snug is a comedy role, so comic timing is essential.

Egeus is an older role, with one long and moving monologue (but don't be afraid by it. Director will work intensively with you 1-on-1).

Rehearsals start two weeks today (Monday 4th August) and are based down in Surrey. The run is 3rd - 6th September 2008 in Godalming, Surrey in a beautiful outdoor amphitheatre.

Pay = £500 plus 20% commission on any tickets personally sold.
