Performing Arts Technician (Part Time)

About The Job

This is an exciting time to join the College due to the recent opening of the Parabola Arts Centre. The Centre contains a purpose built 300 seat theatre and contains state-of-the-art technical equipment.

We now seek to appoint a part time Performing Arts Technician to work closely with the Technical Stage Manager to ensure the successful provision of technical support across College.

You should have some experience in lighting, sound and stage design and be willing to develop your knowledge of technical theatre.

You must be enthusiastic about theatre, possess excellent communication and team working skills and enjoy delivering a high quality customer service.

Strong IT skills are essential. Commencing April 2012.

This is a part time post working primarily during term time. There will be a regular need to work evenings and weekends to support events and a flexible approach to working hours will be necessary.

Salary circa £16,500 per annum (full time), depending on experience.
