We promote over 350 community and education events per year, giving schools, families and community groups the opportunity to take part in workshops, concerts and creative projects both at the Hall itself, across London and further afield. The following two posts are available in the department:
(ONE YEAR RENEWABLE FIXED TERM CONTRACT FROM 1 AUGUST 2008)
PART-TIME: 18.75 HOURS PER WEEK
This new and exciting post marks a new era for Music for Life, an organisation which has been successfully pioneering and developing work with people with dementia over the past 15 years. Working with the Head of Community and Education and the Director of Music for Life, the successful candidate will help to ensure the smooth handover of the Music for Life project to us over a three-year period as well as managing and administrating the project on a day-to-day basis. With a proven track record in education/community project management and fundraising, the successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, experience of effective partnership working and an understanding of diversity and inclusion issues. Experience of working with older adults and in particular people with dementia an advantage.
