We are looking for a full time Receptionist/Administrative Assistant for our offices in central London. First class customer-service is extremely important to us in all aspects of our operations, so you’ll need to be motivated by delivering an exceptional standard of customer care, and a confident communicator who enjoys dealing with the public.
In addition to providing a warm welcome to visitors and manning the switchboard, you will also assist with the administration of our exams and assessments, including dealing with customer enquiries, processing entry forms, and checking and issuing exam results for the 360,000 candidates who take our exams in the UK and Ireland each year. As the face and voice of our organisation, you’ll need to juggle the demands of a busy switchboard with face-to-face enquiries, whilst reflecting our standards and values at all times.
Well-organised, self-motivated and proficient at multi-tasking, you’ll be used to working well under pressure and without direct supervision. We’ll also be looking for experience in a similar administrative role, excellent written communication skills, a good knowledge of Microsoft Office, accurate keyboard skills, and of course, a professional and courteous telephone manner.
In return, we offer a friendly working environment, generous holidays, contributory pension, childcare vouchers and a strong commitment to training and development.
Hours of work will be 35 per week, normally worked between 8am-4pm or 10am-6pm.
Completed application forms should be returned by Thursday 8 May 2008.
