PURPOSE OF ROLE
To provide timely, accurate and effective tools in support of Music Services and profit goals.
RESPONSIBLITIES
SALES TARGETS
- Manage the development and distribution of reports and tools realted to the Labels content
- Assist in delivery of the agreed sales and profit objective and budgets
DIGITAL DEVELOPMENT
- Develop and implement systems and process improvements related to digital
- Assit in managing the digital new release planning process
- Continue development and integration of digital sales into core sales processes and best practices
NEW BUSINESS
- Assist and support sales in the drive to forge new partnerships in teh digital, physical, brand, promotional and agency sectors
- Coordinate with Marketing to facilitate the set up of new business deals and programs
SALES ANALYSIS
- Analyse Labels price campaign acitivity
- Analyse ROI catalogue and work maximising returns
- Analysis of UK retail ranges and make recommendations for addition and subtraction of titles and expansion and contraction of distribution
PLANNING
- Compile and manage campaign calendars
- Work with Forecasting team to ensure that forecasts on campaign titles are accurate and submitted on time
- Work with other Departments to plan to deliver KPIs
- Work with other Departments to forecast weekly and monthly sales
SUPPORT
- Check retail campaign orders to ensure correct net prices are being paid
- Liaise with other Company Labels on instore POS and distribute
- Compile and circulate monthly and quarterly market reports
SKILLS
- 3+ years of sales suport experience in a consumer-focused industry - setting and enforcing standards, customer service and budget understanding
- Strong understanding of music sales, retail marketing and distribution process and associated tools
- Develop real focus and knowledge of consumer music
- Ability to understand and interpret consumer data - keeping up to date with consumer and market trends |
