The Faculty of Computing, Engineering and Technology is a leading centre for innovation and practical scholarship. We are urgently looking to appoint a technical specialist to support the delivery of technical skills instruction to students.

This role will be responsible for helping develop, operate and maintain the Faculty’s studios and music technology laboratories, working very closely with other members of technical support staff. With proven experience of working in a music studio environment, you will have an excellent knowledge of music equipment and be responsible for controlling equipment loans to students. The ability to deliver technical skills instruction to students on the safe and correct use of studio equipment is essential. You will be expected to be familiar with both analogue and digital technologies, ideally with proven experience of working in a ProTools environment.

Some evening work and occasional weekend cover will be required.

This post is fixed term for 6 months.
