We are looking for a Theatre Technician and Assistant to assist the Theatre Technical Manager in the management and maintenance of the Jack Lyons Theatre and to provide skilled technical support for a wide range of activities including full-scale Opera and Musical Theatre Productions.

Your duties will include participating in the construction of lighting, sets, props and sound systems, operating appropriate theatrical equipment and ensuring all technical works for a production meet with the Academy’s safety standards.

You will have broad experience of all Technical Theatre disciplines and ideally experience of working in an educational theatre environment, together with the ability to work independently and on your own initiative.
