You need to be fit and healthy, a British Passport holder or a Commonwealth Citizen, and grade 8 to Graduate level.

You will be required to complete the Army basic training and the 5 month Equitation Course (no previous riding experience necessary), this will enable you to perform on horseback as a member of the world famous Household Cavalry Band on such occasions as the Trooping of The Colour.

If working with horses is a problem, there are vacancies in many of the superb bands in the Army. This unique opportunity gives you a chance to have a career in music with all the benefits the Army offers, low cost accommodation and free dental care are just two examples.
