We require a Venue (Event) Manager to work within a growing team of 7 to assist in the successful running and overseeing of all operational requirements for the 20,000 seater arena as well as events in the public spaces of The O2 (London Piazza, Peninsula Square & Meridian Gardens).
Key responsibilities for the role are to manage the event planning process, manage the relationship will all clients and event organizers, lead the front of house team on allocated events, work closely with all internal departments to ensure a smooth venue operation, provide exceptional levels of customer service at all times, comply with all H&S regulations and have good knowledge and understanding of Risk Assessments and other H&S practices, adhere to all licensing stipulations and in house policies, manage events budgets to control spending and achieve contribution targets set by the company and to effectively plan the staffing levels of allocated events.
You must have relevant operations experience in managing large complex events in arena’s, stadia or very large theatres. You will have a real passion for delivering excellence and helping to set new bench marks for service, both to promoters, event clients and customers and you will possess effective leadership, communication and administrative skills.
