This voluntary role would suit those who like to bring cheer to others! Your role would be to tour the wards and have a chat with the patients, as well as promoting, and hopefully collect record requests.

The visiting is usually done in the weeknight evenings, and afternoons and evenings of the weekends, but we are keen to introduce this activity during the weekday afternoons.

Skills/Qualifications
You enjoy interacting with people, a good listener, can speak clearly and you are interested in Radio 2 style/easy listening music. You would also be willing to be involved in the fund raising activities of the Friends of Barnet Hospital.

If you like this style of music, there maybe opportunities in the future to train as relief programme presenters.
