Web Developer

We are a music and media community that films music performances, gives musicians free promotional videos, talks to people in the industry and provides advice and information about music.

We are looking for a volunteer web developer to help implement the web application and design of the UK platform. The web person will be working on both the front and back end development of the website and will be expected to work in collaboration with other members of the team - in particular the Technical Director who oversees all web development and provides appropriate support as and when needed.

The successful candidate will need to possess a full understanding of existing and emerging web technologies and have confidence in presenting technical information to other colleagues. He / she will also have experience and good working knowledge of the following:
· Content Management Systems (Joomla)
· Databases (mySQL)
· Apache, Java, PHP, XML, Security, Web Standards, Accessibility and usability.
