We are looking for ‘World Music’ acts to perform at events in Bedford in 2009. I’m looking for interesting and exciting acts that can inspire and open people’s perceptions and interest in different styles of music from around the world. Anything from African Drumming to Rai, Klezmer, Salsa, Cuban funk, English folk, fluteboxing(!) etc etc etc will be considered (sorry, no indie/rock/punk etc type bands at this time).

This is a new project which is in the early stages of planning. Not sure if there will be any financial guarantee for bands at this stage but any door split would be heavily in the bands favour.
