We're putting together an entry for Mofilm's new competition. You can read about it here: http://www.mofilm.com/competitions/tribeca2010/

Basically, there are 6 or 7 brands and companies who have submitted briefs for adverts that they want made.

We have picked the BestBuy brief for our entry:

BRAND BRIEF
Demonstrate your own creativity! Tell us a story about how you (or someone you
know) use technology to be more creative.

TONE:
Honest, Optimistic, Passionate

We have come up with an idea involving a band who want to make their first music video and have access to a DSLR which shoots HD movies as well as high res stills.

As the brand BestBuy is American, I think it would make it more authentic having an American band. The company also wants to encourage female customers who might feel intimidated by the usual tech store attitude and presentation, which is why we would like at least one of the members of the band to be Female.

We will be shooting this in London in the next couple of weeks. It should only take a day or two to film it.

Obviously as this is just a competition entry, we have no money, but this could be a perfect opportunity to get your band some great promotion.
