Adam Wedd and The Independents are looking to get their latest single 'The Differences We Display' (which can be downloaded for free from www.adamweddandtheindependents.co.uk) placed on a TV show, in an advert, or similar.

Anyone who can offer help with this or just give general advice please get in touch: jamesbridges2000@hotmail.com

Cheers,
James

You could check out TAXI.com

Have a look at today's listings for what labels are requesting... https://www.taxi.com/industry.php?icid=TXINCN00000003

It could be "programme director of NBS is seeking British indie/rock tracks a la Kooks, Fratellis" or whatever and if you think you have some tracks they might go for send em in.

The memberships expensive but I've recently joined and it's opening up a lot of doors.

James,

Personally I'd advise be dubious of sites like these (TAXI), they make their money by promising to open up doors to worlds of gold but rarely come through.

If you want to get your material in adverts you need to start speaking to music publishers. You can either do an online search for these or (and it will cost a little) get your hands on a copy of the Music Week directory which will list them all.

If you search yourself then I would recommend finding artists similar to yourself (but not too much) and checking who publishers their material.

You could also contact AD/Marketing companies yourself but licencing is a pretty complex subject so make sure you get some legal advice before you sign anything....
