Hi my name is Giles Waithe. I’m a 29-year-old singer songwriter and guitarist. I’m currently forming a band and have space for a drummer, bassist, and keyboard player. The aim of this band will be to create great music together, and make a good living doing it.

The style of music I’m playing is alternative rock with many influences including Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, Deep Purple, The Raconteurs, U2, Coldplay. Your influences should be compatible with those, if not necessarily the same. You can hear samples of what I’m doing now at

The next few months, will involve a lot of rehearsals, gigs and recordings, with the initial aim of being prepared to apply for next years festival slots by the end of this summer. You should be able to make at least two rehearsals a week and at least two gigs a month with a view to increasing this as the band grows.
