Im am from a band called Catharsis who are situated in Derby. We have a relatively good following in Derby and have made a slight impact in Sheffield, but our music is quite a niche and quite often we end up playing to the wrong crowd who don't know what we're about. We are looking for a manager to get us exposure, get us on the right track and even give us musical guidance. We are influenced by bands such as ISIS, pelican, Mono, grails and composers such as Steve Reich, Faure, Gorecki. We dont like to give our music a particular because there isn't one that we feel fits but the music is progressive, experimental, ambient and rock.
