Yesterday's (PAID) job advertisements contained two jobs that aren't in fact jobs.

Stink Records advertisement for "A&R Music Managers" is not a job and actually requires a £35 "registration fee" to enable you to vote for unsigned artists. This should be on the messageboard not on the jobs board.

The Programming Associate (Contemporary Music) title seems to have nothing to do with the advert beneath it which describes, and contains a hyperlink to, the Arts Council's cultural leadership training programme.

Also there is a job that says it's paid asking for mc,s then in the description it says unpaid.

I set up a label called Jeepster in 1996 and we relied on freelance A&R scouts to find the bands for us. We never asked for any money. In fact we paid for all postal expenses/gig entry and gave generous commision when 2 scouts found us 2 bands we went on to sign. The first were called Belle and Sebastian. The second, Snow Patrol. If anyone knows of any band that really deserves to be signed, please don't hesitate to get in touch. I'm listening!

The MC's job is showing as unpaid and appearing on the unpaid section of our jobs board.
