Hi,
I’m a young, enthusiastic person looking for any type of work in the technical side of the music industry such as sound engineering, PA hire, or in a venue.
I have helped with many school productions, operating the sound equipment as well as a few professional gigs and events, from which I have gained experience and knowledge of how to set up PA equipment, mic bands, mix FOH and monitors and operate small and medium sized desks. I have also set up my own home recording studio and recorded many of my own bands, and other bands songs. This has given me experience of recording methods and software such as Cubase, Logic and FL. I have been playing drums in a band for 2 years. I have set up my own home recording studio and recorded many of my bands, and other bands songs.
I am looking for any work preferably to do with live or recorded sound but also other backstage work such as setting up equipment and "roadie" work etc.
I am extremely technically minded and very good with computers or any technical equipment, I also have A levels in electronics, engineering and ICT.
I am based in South East London and am willing to work in London and Kent on a regular basis but could travel further on occasions. I have a full, clean UK driving license.
I have recently received information from the Jobcentre about a “New Deal” incentive for employers which would enable you to trial a new employee such as myself for 15 days without payment, plus give a subsidy of up to £60 a week for the first 26 weeks of employment after the trial. This would be an encouragement for employers to take on younger people which you may not be aware of.
Please feel free to email my for a CV, or with any information of jobs you may think will interest me at mousedadrummer182@hotmail.co.uk
Thank You
Michael Oram
