Hey all. I'm seeking advice from anybody that may work in A&R now or has done in the past.

Ideally, that's where I intend on working in the future and I have full confidence in my ability but as I'm sure you can imagine, I'm not getting anywhere.

I did A&R for the Great Escape Festival earlier this year, I've done new music radio shows in the past, I'm moving into podcasting soon, I've promoted gigs, I blog, I go to gigs on a regular basis etc, etc but I'm getting ignored constantly.

I've even offered my services as a scout to a load of labels for FREE to boost my CV and gain further experience but I never hear anything back

I was just wondering if anybody out there can perhaps tell me if there's anything I'm missing or if there's anything I can do to get noticed. I have every confidence in my ability as a scout. I have a very strong ear for talent and a love of music that borders on obsession.

I'm extremely committed and passionate. I've applied for several A&R jobs on here and have never heard anything back. I know there are a load of people in the same boat too...

What else can I do?!
