Hi potential house mates, I am a drummer looking for room to rent, I have my drumkit set up in a friends studio, which means I won't necessarily play the kit in the house for those that I worried about noise.

BUT IDEALLY I would like a house share that has a basement or music room.

If not, anywhere with or without music space would be appreciated. I am 24, been playing the drums since I was 11.
I love lots of different kinds of music (from hip-hop to experimental music, punk rock to cuban jazz...like to mix it up)
I am very creative, love drawing writing etc...I am working free-lance as a drum tutor. I like communal living, i don't drink or take drugs, but I'm not judgemental either...love cooking, watching films and going out to gigs/parties, dancing etc etc.

Dear Drummer,

I am a bassist living in Treforest, Wales. Here there is a guitarist living with me. We practice and jam everyday in the basement of our house. We have serious plans to form a 'Cure' tribute band, shortly. So far we know to play about 25 songs, together. However, we are badly in need of a drummer. Not only would it then sound complete but it would also improve our playing. Additionally, I am interested in learning the rudiments of different drumming techniques.

We would love someone like you to come to our house. It would be so great! We can practice for hours on end and don't worry about any noise. Now, this brings me to another topic. There are two other fellows living here with us who are a big nuisance. To top it all, one of their friends has also moved in for a short period. It is a nightmare living with them. Despite the fact that my friend and I are musicians, we adjust so much so that they don't get disturbed in any way- like practising only when they are away, turning down the instruments when they are sleeping, etc. But they have no concern for us. This one-sided approach cannot be tolerated any further. This is exactly where your presence would be useful. I want you to come here practise for as long as you want to on your drums, thrash the cymbals... we will also join you and amplify the sounds of our respective instruments to a fever pitch from the amplifier.

The bottom line is I want the rest of the numbskulls staying here out of this place. So, that will serve a dual purpose- form a complete band with a drummer and drive the pests out of this place.

A huge house on Finchley Road with proffessional musicians and a music studio offers a spare huge double bedroom for another musician / music fan. room available in greenwich sharing with two ex music college easy going guys - one singer one keys player. the house is a large newly refurbished victorian terrace close to north greenwich tube and the room is a large double easily big enough to put a kit.
