Taz Alexander is a highly accomplished singer. Her voice has huge range and her understanding and masterful use of it has enabled her to sing in a diverse range of different musical styles with astonishing ease.
Her current projects include working and touring with Juno Reactor (www.reactorleak.com), with whom she sang on the soundtracks for 'The Matrix Reloaded', 'The Animatrix' and 'Once Upon a Time in Mexico' and has contributed vocals to the last 3 albums, 'Shango', 'Labyrinth' and 'Gods and Monsters'. She was a founder member of the world fusion group 'Sin É' who toured extensively and made 3 albums which were received with critical acclaim. When not touring, Taz is a collaborator and performer with 'The Jazz Cigarettes': a loose collective of professional musicians, who as a band play at weddings and parties with the aim of "putting the fun back in function". Their repertoire is an eclectic mix of cover versions performed as unusual and highly entertaining arrangements.
She has also shared the stage with the likes of Christy Moore, Taj Mahal, John Otway and Van Morrison.
