Manos was blessed with a rhythmical spirit and has been a great lover of all types of music & beats ever since he built his own drum kit at the tender age of 12. Deeply influenced by the likes of James Brown, Light of the World, Incognito, Average White Band and more recently Airto Moreira, Eddie Palmieri & Robin Jones (whom he also studies with), Manos draws from many corners of the music spectrum. "I love to experiment with traditional styles to shape my own expression within music, allowing myself to play freely without constraint is liberating and divine!!

His passion for music is as broad as the benefits it brings to people and his boundless energy and dedication towards excellence is what drives him forward as an inspired conguero. "I try my best to learn something new every day and aim to keep studying rhythms from all over the world." Manos has developed a unique style from a wide range of percussion influences such as Giovanni Hildago, undisputedly the most influential and inspiring conguero of today, Miguel 'Anga' Diaz, Airto Moreira, Tito Puente and more recently such greats as Master Percussionist Robin Jones(whom he also studies with), Ravin 'RAZ' Jayasuriya (whom he also studies with), David Pattman and Pete Lockett. He is a great lover of many styles of percussion including Afro-Cuban, Latin, African, Brazilian and Middle Eastern.

Since turning professional in 2000 Manos has clocked up a vast amount of gigs all over the UK and abroad across a variety of entertainment platforms:

Since 2008 Manos has his focus on Latin Music and continues to discover & embrace this most beautiful sound that never fails to get people dancing. One of his current projects include a band named 'DeLATIN SOUND' where for the first time Manos can experiment with his new found love ... Latin Jazz! "As my playing develops I am finding myself drawn more & more towards the traditional elements of Latin & African beats". 2009 promises to bring more Latin flavours to his playing as studying with Robin Jones (A Master Percussionist) continues to develop & expand him as an ambitious conguero.

BUTCHER BEATS

One of Manos' favourite bands is namely .. 'BUTCHERD BEATS' .. London based Musician, Producer and DJ ‘Butcherd Beats’ has thrown his life experiences, emotions and vivid imagination into his music, with influences spanning World Music, House , Drum & Bass and Jazz he has prepared a musical journey full of eclectic funky urban beats. The Butcher has been working with other artists and musicians producing remixes for people such as Daniel & Natasha Bedingfield, Mark Morrison, Sophie Ellis Bextor, KI, and XL Records under alias ‘Tokori’ for Adele and The Magistrates. Recent Collaborations see’s him together with the No.1 DJ in Croatia DJ Joe 2 Shine, the UK’s finest soulful jazzy funky singers Kelli-Leigh and Ama, Wizdom from Green Jade and Manos (Beats de Vyne) www.butcherdbeats.co.uk .... .......................................................................................

DE LATIN SOUND

The Vinyl Gibbon (aka David Elliott) is a Brighton based musician who creates jazz with a twist. He has been producing music for over 10 years using a mix of real piano and synthesizers blended with world instruments and percussion. Influenced by Jazz and World Music he creates a smooth down-tempo sound with a diverse experimental approach. Inspired by his many journeys around the world, he brings a subtle ambience into the music, such as the sounds of Bali and jungle noises from the Costa Rican rainforest.

Manos also collaborates with numerous DJs & Producers in the studio, creating various styles of music. Manos works closely with The Knights of the Round Tables who have so far released a host of Disco driven House records under a number of labels, mostly Room Control. Some of their latest material has included vocals from Adeama ("Turn The Beat Around") showcasing P.A.'s of ... "Reach High" (released on Room Control Records) plus future releases due out this year. The Knights of The Round Tables are also in big demand for their remix work and have also just set up there own Record Label - 'Coolerking Records' which will serve up what it says on the Tin ....
