My singing and writing styles include country, jazz, blues, pop, R&B, rock, soul and cabaret.

As a hard working professional I am often taken in many different directions. Writing and recording with my Americana band, The Big River Bandits. As lead vocalist with hi-tech duo and trio, Big River and as lead vocalist with The Big River Band - a 5 or 6-piece function/covers/party band.
Also as a solo singer performing in shows featuring war time and 1940's songs and other songs from the past.

I am responsible for most of the publicity, marketing and bookings for the above acts.

I sometimes work as a dep in other bands and as a session singer.

My work is diverse and it's a pleasure to be able to perform in so many different areas of music and for so many different audiences.
As well as working with my bands, since the year 2000 I have worked as an entertainer in residential homes and schools for children & adults with learning disabilities and physical disabilities. Since 2007 in care homes for the elderly.

I have a versatile and excellent vocal range for all styles of music from all eras.

I have worked as a voice over artiste for radio commercials and private companies.

The Big River Bandits are seeking management and all The Big River acts are looking for gigs in the rest of Europe and The USA as well as in The UK.

Renee and Gerry Power formed The Big River Duo, Trio and Function band in 2003 and have exceptional reputations as versatile entertainers suitable for all age groups and audiences at any type of event.
In 2006 they went on to form a country rock band, playing country rock, swing, bluegrass, rockabilly and traditional country music. Original material and covers.

They have performed at numerous weddings, anniversary and birthday parties. Ladies and gentlemen's Masonic functions, festivals, sports clubs, social clubs, balls, holiday parks, Hotels, restaurants and bars. For both corporate and private clients.

Corporate clients include Thames Water, John Lewis plc, Norwood Schools, The Twickenham Yacht Club, The Keyhaven Yacht Club, The British Toolmakers Association, The British Newsagents Association and more.

Renee and Gerry performed as one of the resident duos for The Hilton Hotels in Park Lane, Olympia and Bracknell, and still play at The Hilton Hotel in Watford and Olympia.

During 2005 they played at many of The Gala Casinos up and down the country.

They have performed in many of London's prestigious Hotels including The Guoman Tower on Tower Bridge, The Mandarin Hotel in Knightsbridge and The Landmark Hotel off Baker Street, plus many more.

Other prestigious venues include The Complete Angler whose guests have included Royalty, Bisham Abbey, training venue for The England football squad, Wentworth Golf Club, Henley Regatta, The Jazz Cafe, Arley Hall, Farnham Castle and numerous others

In 2004, joined by Steve Jones on keyboard they played as the resident trio onboard The Val De Loire for Brittany Ferries.
